Eco-Refurbishment Training Course – Cambridge Regional College

Banish the winter blues with a new eco course which helps you save cash and the environment.

If you’ve always wanted to save energy at home – and say goodbye to those whistling draughts – then this is the course for you.

Run by eco expert Sarah Bearpark, the College’s Sustainability specialist, the five week course shows just how easy it is to make a difference. The course covers energy monitoring, darught proofing, roofs and lofts, walls, heating, ventilation, lighting and renewable energy. You will learn key facts and practical actions that you can undertake in your own home and learn how to overcome potential pitfalls.

What will you learn?

  • What are the most effective actions you can take?
  • How much will it cost?
  • Are there any grants available?
  • How much will it save in energy and carbon?
  • What products are available and how do I use them?
